AltE Supplies Solar Panels for One of New Hampshire’s Largest Solar Arrays

December 23, 2010

Exeter High School in New Hampshire is now using one of the largest solar electric arrays in the state to offset a portion of the High School’s energy needs. Setting on the High School’s grounds is a 100 kilowatt solar electric system made up of solar panels and other items supplied by altE to the creators and installers of the project, Revolution Energy.

Exeter, NH (PRWEB) December 22, 2010

One of the largest solar electric arrays installed in New Hampshire went live in September, 2010. Measuring in at 100 kilowatts this system has been supplementing energy used by Exeter High School using solar electric modules, an inverter and system design support supplied by the wholesale solar panel provider, altE Direct, to the creators and installers of this project, Revolution Energy.

It is estimated that the giant solar array made up of 465 solar panels will offset about 5 percent of the Exeter High School’s energy needs and along with other technologies and upgrades will eventually save the school more than $200,000 per year.

Not only has Revolution Energy developed a solar electric system that will save the school money and energy, they also plan to work with the school to develop a curriculum that will educate students on the solar electric technology using the newly completed system.

“Revolution Energy has been a fantastic company to work with and it has been fulfilling to support them in one of the largest solar project of its type in all of New Hampshire. Knowing their commitment to working with the school and the government to not only save costs and energy, but also to educate students about the technology is just another great reminder of why I enjoy helping the customers I work with here at altE,” says Ben Farmer; altE’s Sales Manager who worked with Revolution Energy on the project.
