ALPINE -- Interline Resources Corp. said Thursday it has decided to rebuild its Well Draw gas plant in Wyoming. The Alpine-based company will use existing and newly purchased equipment to construct a crude oil topping facility while still processing natural gas and producing gasoline and diesel fuel at the plant.
The diesel will be sold in the local Powder River Basin coal market, while the light gasoline will be sold to the ethanol markets of the Midwest.
Based on 2005 prices, the company said, the plant will buy $62 million of crude per year and will have gross sales of about $70 million.
A pair of fires occurred at the plant in 2001 and 2002. The latter damaged 80 percent of the plant and resulted in litigation that ultimately was settled between Interline and an independent trucking company.
