Mycle Brandy is a 4 time stroke survivor and is walking from San Diego to Seattle to inspire people to live a healthier lifestyle. ZEN RIZING, a Socially Progressive Rock band that Rewards Participation in Social Responsibility will share 5% of future proceeds with the first 100 people who participate in SocialCo-Op.

Mycle Brandy is a 4 time stroke survivor and is walking from San Diego to Seattle to inspire people to live a healthier lifestyle. ZEN RIZING, a Socially Progressive Rock band that Rewards Participation in Social Responsibility will share 5% of future proceeds with the first 100 people who participate in SocialCo-Op.

SocialCo-Op will be at the Eat Real Festival on July 16th and 17th, meeting tomorrow’s rockstars, passing out postcards, and answering questions about fundraising for people and supporting ArtistsPalooza.

Mycle Brandy has survived four strokes and walks with a cane; is set to walk from San Diego to Seattle, leaving on 7/17/11 and arriving on 11/11/2011. He is poised to represent the National and Orange County Stroke Associations while visiting stroke victims at hospitals along the way.

ZEN RIZING is opening for the DOORS at the Whiskey Go Go on August 19th, in Los Angeles and will perform at San Diego’s City Hall to jump start Mycle Brandy’s trek to Seattle and continue to play at hospitals along the path from San Diego to Seattle to support his mission.

Mycle Brandy, on February 14, 2010, on his 59th birthday, began a walk across America from Newport Beach, California to Washington DC, arriving on Oct 10, 2010, a total of 2,940 miles, in 224 days through 13 states. During the walk across America he visited several of hospital stroke units to help encourage fellow stroke survivors to keep up with their exercise. He was interviewed on several occasions by various forms of local media.
