Dr. DeLaRosa comes to Saint Michael’s with a wealth of knowledge, skill and experience and with a well-deserved reputation for excellence.
After recieving his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, Dr. DeLaRosa completed a general surgery residency at the University of California San Diego. He then went on to train under the tutelage of Dr. Robert Guyton at Emory University, where he completed a residency in cardiothoracic surgery. Currently, he serves as the chief of cardiac and endovascular surgery at Portneuf Medical Center.
A diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Dr. DeLaRosa is a well-respected and widely published specialist in all aspects of open-heart surgery as well as the evolving field of Endovascular surgery.
