American Electric Power Extends Its Use of Power Costs Inc.'s Software

American Electric Power has extended its use of Power Costs Inc.'s software for supporting Southwest Power Pool market operations. Norman-based Power Costs Inc
. will expand its software system at American Electric Power to include GenPortal for business process management and workflow automation. AEP has been a long- term customer of Power Costs and currently uses the company's GenTrader for portfolio optimization and resource planning, said Jason Kram, vice president of Power Costs.Source: Journal Record - Oklahoma City
