Town Places Recycling Bins at Public Works Building
September 1, 2005
The town has reopened its recycling center, which has been shut down for nearly five months.
Windham closed its free public recycling centers in April because people were dumping trash into the recycling bins. The town had two bins behind the Windham Mall and on Route 202.
At the time, officials said the town was spending extra money for public works crews to clean the two sites.
The two new recycling bins are at the public works building at 185 Windham Center Road. They will be accessible from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
