Opal to Pay CEK 15,000/Y More for Natural Gas From Oct 2005

September 7, 2005

Opal (Pencin, Czech Republic), glass firm, will have to pay CEK 15,000/y more for natural gas from Oct 2005, having paid roughly CEK 60,000/y so far. The firm cannot reflect the raise of gas prices in the country in the prices of its goods, so the increase will go to the detriment of the margin. Opal is a family firm with a turnover of CEK 7 mil/y.
