Algerian Athletes Win Three Gold Medals in African Athletics Championship

During the African Athletics Championship, Algerian athletes won six medals including three gold ones. Algerian Abdelatif Jalloul won the gold medal in pole vaulting by jumping over 4,60 m bar. Other winners of the three gold medals were Ali Amrouche, who finished first in 10 km race walking, and Camellia Sahnoun, who won the gold medal in triple jump. African Athletics Championship, which ended on September 4, hosted 271 athletes from 28 countries.
