'West Wing' Actor Ron Silver to Discuss 'Broken Promises: The United Nations at 60', Sept. 21 in Washington, D.C.

"West Wing" Actor Ron Silver will hold a "Morning Newsmaker" news conference Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 12 p.m. at the National Press Club, 14th & F Streets NW (13th Floor), Washington, D.C.
Silver will discuss the United Nations in conjunction with the release of the new documentary, "Broken Promises: The United Nations at 60," which was to premiere in Washington this week. Silver is the narrator and co-executive producer of the film.
A longtime Democrat and critic of the United Nations, Silver backed the re-election of George W. Bush last year. The actor, who plays the ongoing role of Bruno Gianelli in TV's "West Wing," has been outspoken on such issues as terrorism and Israel. Silver has appeared in more than 60 movies.
