Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant Units Undergo Repair

KYIV. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The fourth unit of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant was disconnected from the power grid at 10:40 p.m. on September 24 to repair a pipeline crack, with the reactor's output reduced to a minimum, the media department of the Energoatom National Atomic Energy Company said.
The Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant has applied to start repairs of its second unit on Monday at midnight.
The fourth unit of the Rivne nuclear power plant was reconnected to the national grid at 7:15 a.m. on September 24 after undergoing generator repairs.
Repairs are also underway in the fifth unit of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and the first unit of the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant.
Twelve of fifteen Ukrainian nuclear power plants units are currently online.
