Spire Corporation Appoints Edward Hurley As Solar Equipment Sales Manager; Mr. Hurley to Manage Major Customer Accounts.

Spire Corporation (Nasdaq: SPIR) announced today that it has expanded its photovoltaic module assembly equipment sales force with the addition of Edward Hurley as Photovoltaic Equipment Sales Manager. Mr. Hurley brings over 20 years of semiconductor capital equipment sales experience at General Scanning, Teradyne and PEI where he was responsible for selling and marketing laser scanning systems and test equipment to the electronics industry.
