New Hammerhead Stainless Steel Tool Chest

SteelHead Design Inc. announced the availability of its newest HammerHead brand product, the FX 41-inch wide Stainless Steel Rolling Tool Chest.

According to the manufacturer, the industrial-quality design of the 492 lbs. chest is intended for the serious professional. It’s constructed of 18-gauge, 304 stainless steel and has reinforced internal supports to accommodate side boxes and addons.

Drawers are made of 16-gauge material and have full-extension ball bearing drawer slides with double slides on deep drawers. The unit is built on casters with ball bearings in sealed hubs and swivel collars. Other features include: two gas-filled lifts for the top lid, stainless steel pipe side, tubular cam locks for each cabinet, and welded edges that are ground and polished, the company said.
