ROBERT HALL WINERY HAS PUBLIC CENTER: The new Robert Hall Winery hospitality center features a special events room, outdoor amphitheater, garden terrace and a new tasting room that leads to the underground wine caverns.

EDNA VALLEY VINEYARD EVENT BENEFITS LOCAL CANCER SOCIETY: Tickets are on sale now for "Release '05," the third annual local cancer benefit hosted by Edna Valley Vineyard and sponsoring restaurants, boutiques and artists.
A portion of the proceeds from the wine, fashion, food and art event will go to the American Cancer Society: San Luis Obispo Unit. "Release '05" will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30 at Edna Valley Vineyard, 2585 Biddle Ranch Road, San Luis Obispo. The event features newly released wines, music and food from local restaurants, an artist showcase and a 2 p.m. fashion show. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Edna Valley Vineyard or by calling 544-5855 ext. 15.
EBERLE WINERY TO HOST FIFTH ANNUAL HALLOWEEN BENEFIT: A professional lighting company, along with many spooky volunteers, will transform the 16,000 square feet of underground caves at Eberle Winery into haunted Halloween fun.
Brave souls 10 years and older may take their chances in the caves. Children of all ages are encouraged to participate in other games and Halloween activities. A $5 donation per person will benefit the D.R.E.A.M. for Kids Foundation. The Haunted Caves run from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 29-30.
This is the fifth year that Eberle Winery has hosted the event. Other sponsors include Paso Robles Rotary Club, Meathead Movers and KSBY-TV.
Eberle Winery is at 3810 Highway 46 East, 3.5 miles east of Paso Robles. Enter the wine caves through the tasting room where complimentary wine tasting will be available for adults 21 and older.
D.R.E.A.M. is a local nonprofit foundation working in partnership on behalf of the foster youth of San Luis Obispo County.

GUIDE TO SAN LUIS OBISPO WINERIES IS NOW AVAILABLE: The 2005-06 San Luis Obispo Vintners' brochure map has been released and "is branding the SLO wine country as a sophisticated, savvy destination known for extraordinary varietals," according to Charles Yates, San Luis Obispo Vintners' executive director.
The wine guide is available at the San Luis Obispo Vintners office and tasting rooms, and at the San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach chambers of commerce.
San Luis Obispo Vintners promotes wine tourism and supports the region's wineries, growers and associate members.
