EDUCATION - Ph.D. in mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1955).
CAREER - Professor emeritus, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, mathematics department. Also served as visiting professor at Yale, Northwestern, University of California at Berkeley, New York University and the University of Minnesota.
BOOKS - "Values of Non-Atomic Games" (1974), "Game Theory" (1981), "Lectures on Game Theory" (1989), "Handbook of Game Theory with Economic Applications" (1994), "Repeated Games with Incomplete Information" (1995), "Collected Papers" (2000).
HONORS - Member, National Academy of Sciences; Member, Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities; recipient, Harvey Prize in Science and Technology; recipient, Israel Prize in Economics; fellow, Econometric Society; honorary degrees from University of Bonn, University of Chicago, and Universite Catholique de Louvain.
