Foundation Coal Announces Availability of 2005 Third Quarter Conference Call

Foundation Coal Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:FCL) today announced that the company plans to report its 2005 third quarter results before the market opens on Wednesday, November 2, 2005.
A conference call to review the results and current business conditions is scheduled to follow at 10:00 a.m. EST that morning.
For those who wish to listen, a live webcast of the conference call will be publicly available on Foundation Coal's website at www.foundationcoal.com. In addition to the live webcast, replays will be available via Foundation Coal's website.
Foundation Coal Holdings, Inc., through its affiliates, is a major U.S. coal producer with 13 coal mines and related facilities in several states including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Illinois, and Wyoming.
