Body Shop Plans to Open 80 New Shops Worldwide Shortly

Body Shop (BS) (UK), natural cosmetics retail chain, plans to open 80 new shops worldwide shortly. From the beginning of 2005 to Oct the company opened 40 new shops. The most recent are located in the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong. BS also plans to set up a branch in Russia. Currently BS has a network of 2,085 shops in 52 countries. It was set up in 1976. The world natural cosmetics market has been growing steadily for approximately 18 years. By 2008 it could be worth nearly USD 6 bil/y.
