Sinopec Begins Building USD 2.9 Bil Chemical Plant in Nan-Ting, China, With BASF

Sinopec (China), semi-state oil company, began building a USD 2.9 bil chemical plant in Nan-ting, China, in co-operation with BASF (Germany)
. For the time being, the joint venture business in China is ruled by Shell (UK), which is building a USD 4.3 bil petrochemical complex in Na-khaj, China, together with the oil firm CNOOC (China).Source: Access Czech Republic Business Bulletin
