British Petroleum Could Open Access to Capital for Sinopec

British Petroleum (BP) (UK), oil concern, could open access to capital for the semi-state oil firm Sinopec (China) if the firms entered into a partnership
. Since 2003 BP has had a joint venture named TNK-BP in Russia, holding a 50% stake in it. The joint venture provides it not only with access to new oil supplies, but it also produces 25% of its total oil output in an amount of 4 mil barrels/ d.Source: Access Czech Republic Business Bulletin
