Fars, Bushehr Provinces Wind Power Plants Feasibility Studies Launched

According to "Tehran Times", the feasibility studies on constructing the wind power plants in five regions of Fars and Bushehr provinces were launched, according to a report released by Fars Regional Electricity Company
. If the positive results are achieved regarding the speed and power of the wind in the determined regions, the permission on constructing the wind power plants will be issued. The regions where the wind power plants are due to be set up include Marvdasht, Eqlid, and Jovim in Fars Province, as well as Bushehr and Dayyer in Bushehr Province. According to the conducted studies, 10,000 MW electricity can be generated by using the wind power in 50 regions of Iran.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
