International Food Products Group Ships Organic Blueberries

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Food Products Group (BULLETIN BOARD: IFDG) Chairman Richard Damion today confirmed shipment of Golden Choice Foods (R) Organic Blueberries to SAM'S Club. The initial shipments, exceeded seventy thousand pounds. This is the first time that SAM'S Club has carried organic blueberries, which if successful, will be sold in more than 200 stores nationwide. Mr. Damion also confirmed that replenishment orders have already been received and the entire commitment of 200,000 pounds is expected to be shipped over the next several months.
Commenting on the distribution of the frozen blueberries, Mr. Damion said, "This first shipment to SAM'S Club is a significant milestone in the growth of IFPG. As consumers become more selective in their purchasing decisions, demand for products such as organic fruits and vegetables will continue to grow at significant rates. SAM'S Club understands the customers' needs and the placement of our Golden Choice Foods(R) Organic Blueberries in its stores reflects this trend towards high quality frozen fruit products." Mr. Damion also added that discussions were under way for programs in 2006 and confirmed that IFPG is actively exploring the sourcing and selection of other frozen fruit and vegetables to enhance the Golden Choice Foods(R) line of products.
