Rise in Prices of Fuel and Petroleum Products

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported on the Jordanian government decision to raise the price of fuel and petroleum products in mid- September 2005
. The paper quoted Prime Minister 'Adnan Badran who said that unleaded gasoline prices would rise 4.8%, bottled gas by 22%, diesel by 5.4%, and regular gasoline by 5.2%. A container of bottled gas will go up JD 2.50 making the consumer price JD 3.75.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
