THE American Express (Amex) Gold Card has taken a new look, as well as
comes enhanced with a smart chip as an additional safety feature.
The newly-designed card will be ready by the end of this year, Amex
said in a statement.
Amex Gold Card members can look forward to the new card that is packed
with the Gold Services; comprising the Gold Concierge, Priority
Reservation, Gold Travel and Gold Rewards.
The Gold Concierge is akin to having a personal assistant in 11
countries sourcing for information on any goods or services the card
member may require, from bookings for restaurants or golf games,
obtaining the best seats at exciting arts and entertainment events
through Priority Reservation, to even flower or cake deliveries for
special occasions.
The Gold Travel service, meanwhile, offers card members special travel
packages with value-added services.
A dedicated team of Gold Travel consultants around Malaysia is ready to
assist with booking a simple getaway or planning the ultimate holiday, at
no additional charge.
By purchasing air tickets or holiday packages through any of the Gold
Travel consultants, card members are also entitled to a complimentary
airport lounge access for every RM2,000 charged to the card.
