If you’re breast-feeding your infant, it can be hard to tell if your baby’s getting enough milk.
According to Health Canada, infants who aren’t getting enough breast milk during feedings will display one or more of these signs:
- Seem to be hungry all the time.
- Appear irritable or cry soon after being taken off the breast.
- Don’t wake regularly for feedings.
- Fall asleep at the breast early during a feed.
- Don’t demonstrate deep sucking and swallowing.
