INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ — The Steak n Shake Company today announced its third-annual holiday partnership with America’s Second Harvest – The Nation’s Food Bank Network to benefit hungry families during the holidays.
From November 1 – December 24, the casual dining restaurant chain will, for every $5 in TAKHOMACARD(R) gift card purchases, donate one STEAKBURGER(TM) patty to local America’s Second Harvest Member food banks.
“Being in the restaurant business makes it especially relevant for Steak n Shake to help hungry families in the communities we serve,” said Peter Dunn, president and CEO of The Steak n Shake Company. “We are happy to once again donate our signature STEAKBURGER(TM) patties to families in need this holiday season.”
Steak n Shake has worked with America’s Second Harvest, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization since 2002, donating patties to individual food banks in the communities they serve.
