Tsingtao Brewery and Monarch Import Company (Barton Beers) Extend Tsingtao Beer's Import Agreement in the U.S.

CHICAGO, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Barton Beers' Monarch Import Company in Chicago and Tsingtao Brewery in China are celebrating the extension of the Tsingtao Beer U.S. import agreement.
Under the renewal, Monarch Import Company will remain the exclusive importer of Tsingtao Beer for the U.S. market, Bermuda and the U.S. Virgin Islands through calendar year 2011. Monarch, a subsidiary of Barton Beers, Ltd., has imported Tsingtao since 1978 and has enhanced the brand's position as the best-selling imported beer from China and one of the top imported beers in the U.S. market. The Tsingtao Brewery is the largest brewery in China.
