Goldcliff Resource Corporation: York-Viking Gold Zone

Goldcliff Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GCN) reports further assay results from the York-Viking Gold zone trenching at the Panorama Ridge property in the Hedley Gold Basin, British Columbia, Canada. The gold results from the SW-NE trenching contain 0.83 grams per tonne gold (g/t) over 226 metres-the highlight of which is 21 metres that contains 1.77 g/t gold with 6 metres grading 5.75 g/t gold.

The 2005 trenching at the York-Viking gold zone (YVZ) has been very successful in establishing a strong SW-NE gold mineralization trend. The gold mineralization is continuous over 225 metres (738 feet). The highlights of the SW-NE trenching gold results are as follows:

These gold results are highly encouraging and consistent with the geological gold model on the property. The trenching gold results are confirming a significant trend of gold mineralization in a SW-NE direction. This trend contains high-grade gold intercepts. The high-grade gold intercepts are interpreted as multiple-gold events occurring within the sedimentary geological section at the York-Viking gold zone at Panorama Ridge.
