Unity Wireless Signs Three Year Master Supply Agreement With North American-Based Tier-1 OEM Customer -- Expected Revenue to Exceed US$3.5 Million for the First Product in the Agreement's Initial 12 Month Period

Posted on: Thursday, 15 December 2005, 09:00 CST

Unity Wireless Corporation (OTC BB: UTYW), a developer of integrated wireless subsystems, power amplifiers and coverage enhancement solutions, today announced that it has signed a Master Supply Agreement with a North American-based Tier-1 OEM (original equipment manufacturer). The agreement covers delivery, pricing, warranty and other commercial details for power amplifiers that the customer may buy from Unity Wireless over the next three years.

Based on the customer's production forecast, Unity Wireless expects revenue under the agreement to exceed US$3.5 million for the first product expected to be shipped in volume over the agreement's initial 12-month period. The customer's forecast is based on its initial deployment of systems for sales it has made in several European markets.

Ilan Kenig, President and CEO of Unity Wireless, commented, "This Master Supply Agreement is the result of a close partnership we developed with this customer over several years. We are delighted to have reached this significant milestone as it reflects substantial investment by both sides for engineering and product development. We look forward to expanding our relationship if this customer secures sales in additional territories and for different product configurations."

Rick Byrd, Senior Director of Business Development at Unity Wireless, said, "The customer's production forecast for its initial European sales demonstrates that even initial deployments can generate considerable revenue opportunities for us. This agreement, and its expected initial revenue, also demonstrate the benefit of highly integrating our products into a customer's systems -- so that when they win significant business -- so can we."
