Uzbek Plant Boosts Gold Production

The Ore Mining and Metallurgical Plant in Uzbekistan's central Navoiy Region has increased gold production by 15.4 per cent, Uzbek TV reported on 15 December.
It said this had been achieved by upgrading the plant's facilities. An automated and centralized control system has been introduced in the plant, and this made it possible to improve the quality of gold and increase production by 15.4 per cent, the report said.
