Waste Industries USA, Inc. Names Durham Vice President of Administration and Support Services

RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Waste Industries USA, Inc. , a regional, non-hazardous solid waste services company, today announced the appointment of Michael J. Durham to the newly created position of Vice President-Administration and Support Services, effective January 1, 2006. In this capacity, he will report directly to Waste Industries' President and Chief Executive Officer, Jim W. Perry. Mr. Durham's primary duties will be to direct and coordinate the Company's Management of Information Systems, Human Resources and the Company's procurement activities. Prior to joining Waste Industries, Mr. Durham held various management and financial positions which include 17 years in the solid waste industry. Mr. Durham holds a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
