Deep Rock Oil & Gas reported that initial natural gas flow rate for the Eppler No. 4 well in Washington County, Okla., exceeded 1 million cubic feet per day.
The Eppler No. 4 is the first of a proposed four-well drilling project in Washington County. Deep Rock owns a 20 percent working interest in the well and intends to drill a second developmental well, said Robert Garner, CEO of Tulsa-based Deep Rock.
We are pleased that the initial well in our four-well package had such positive results and are looking forward to beginning the next well to determine if our analysis regarding the gas reserves in Washington is accurate, Garner said.
Deep Rock has working interests in 33 wells, including 10 operated by the company.
