MOSCOW. Jan 18 (Interfax) - Russia produced 1.28 million tonnes of crude oil on January 17, a drop of 4,200 tonnes from the previous day, the Fuel and Energy Complex Central Dispatch Department reported.
Longer idle periods due to severe temperatures were reported at LUKOIL-Kogalymneftegaz (down 500 tonnes,) at Samaraneftegaz (down 300 tonnes) and at Samotlorneftegaz of TNK - BP (down 400 tonnes.)
Orenburgneft produced 2,400 tonnes less than usual as a result of an electricity shutdown and low temperatures.
