Export of Liquid Natural Gas to China

A-Sharq newspaper quoted a notice published in late November 2005 by ARAMCO announcing the export of fifteen million metric tons of liquid natural gas to China. It was also announced that ARAMCO will assist the Japanese government in a project to build a 176,000 metric tons reservoir for reserve liquid natural gas; and that ARAMCO will increase the number of its liquid natural gas reservoirs from fifty-five to one hundred and ten by the end of 2006. It will also carry out hundreds of drillings for natural gas in the coming years.
