Export of Liquid Natural Gas to China

A-Sharq newspaper quoted a notice published in late November 2005 by ARAMCO announcing the export of fifteen million metric tons of liquid natural gas to China
. It was also announced that ARAMCO will assist the Japanese government in a project to build a 176,000 metric tons reservoir for reserve liquid natural gas; and that ARAMCO will increase the number of its liquid natural gas reservoirs from fifty-five to one hundred and ten by the end of 2006. It will also carry out hundreds of drillings for natural gas in the coming years.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
