The Ukrainian-Russian gas agreements, including the one on forming a joint venture between [Ukrainian state oil and gas company] Naftohaz Ukrayiny and [Swiss-registered gas trading company] Rosukrenergo, which would supply natural gas to Ukraine [as heard, the joint venture is actually to sell gas to consumers in Ukraine], are unlikely to be signed today, Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov has said at the cabinet meeting.
He said that experts are continuing to work on them. "Russian experts are working in Ukraine, but unfortunately we are not ready to sign the documents," Yekhanurov said.
Let me recall that the agreements were initially scheduled to be signed on 21 January.
