Energy Prices Dip Before Key Supply Report

Prospects of growing U.S. petroleum supplies cut energy prices Wednesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

High-quality crude oil for March delivery was last trading down 56 cents at $66.50 a barrel.

Gasoline was off 1.89 cents to $1.7255 a gallon, and heating oil slipped 0.7 cent to $1.81 a gallon.

Natural gas was up 10.8 cents at $8.79 per million Btu.
