President Bush promoted nuclear energy as a way of reducing U.S. oil dependence when he delivered his State of the Union Address on Tuesday, January 31. NEI, the Nuclear Energy Institute, supports the increased use of nuclear energy to ensure an environmentally clean, safe, affordable and reliable supply of electricity.
