SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Doll Technology Group Inc. , a manufacturer and marketer of "Clean & Green" products and technology solutions, announced today the start of strategic large scale field testing of two of its unique high tech ceramic insulation coatings at a CoGen Facility in Southern California.
Doll Technology's High Tech Insulation Coatings are a unique combination of high-performance, high-temperature specialty resins immersed in a water- borne formula. These coatings were built to be used as the primary coating applied over hot pipes to achieve immediate temperature control and corrosion resistance. The products were developed as water-borne formulas to offer non- flammable, non-toxic, high heat insulation coatings capable of adhesion to the refractory or metal surfaces of pipes.
There are many attributes of ceramic insulation, including cutting edge spray-on technology. The application of product usage range from high temperature steam lines, pipes and vessels; to industry usage in Home Land Security, Military and General Construction. Spray on ceramic insulation are designed primarily to block infra-red (IR) heat transfer. However, the products also claim some value for conduction heat loss reduction. Ceramic is also a great corrosion inhibitor and more resistant to impact damage and moisture. These ceramic coatings can be applied directly to hot surfaces, reducing or eliminating down-time application.
E. Bruce Fischer, PhD, Director and CEO of Doll Technologies, said, "At Doll Technology, we strive to bring unique high tech products to market. Through development with our Strategic partnerships we believe a new era in environmentally friendly Eco-technology has arrived. Products such as our High Tech Ceramic Insulation Coatings significantly improve the economics and application time of pipe and high temperature insulation in industrial systems."
