Feb. 22–SMITHS STATION, Ala. — Christi Long tripled in the winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning as Smiths Station opened the season with a 3-2 win over Eufaula on Tuesday.
The marathon lasted four hours, 15 minutes.
Long finished with three hits. Staci Austin and Mary Cook also knocked in runs.
