Indonesia to offer 27 oil, gas blocs
JAKARTA, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian government will offer 27 oil and gas blocs to investors in March, an official with the Ministry of Energy said here Tuesday.
"We will put the 27 blocs on offer in March. Many local and foreign investors have submitted preliminary bids," said oil and gas director Iin Arifin Takhyan.
Most of the blocs are onshore blocs in West Java, Papua, South Sumatra and Sulawesi, he said without elaborating.
