Data on Oil Exports in Container Ships in 2005

Al-Yawm newspaper quoted data on oil exports in tanker ships in 2005 as published in early January 2006 in a report by the National Oil Authority. A total of 383 container ships sailed from Bahrain in 2005, up 2% from 375 ships in 2004
. There was a monthly average of thirty-two ships examined. About ten million metric tons of oil was shipped to other Gulf states, Asian and African countries, up 4.3% from nine million in 2004. The kinds of petroleum products shipped were oil, gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, and motor oils.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
