Boy Scout Troop 349 of Mountville seeks donations of paper for recycling. Bundles of newspapers, magazines, office materials, noncorrugated cardboard (cereal boxes) and other paper (junk mail) will be accepted at two locations
. Scouts receive the items the first Saturday of every month at Centerville Elementary School, 901 Centerville Road, from 8 to 10 a.m. The items also may be placed by the shed behind St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Main Street, Mountville, at any time. Recyclables should be packaged in paper bags or cardboard boxes or tied. The troop hopes to expand the recycling effort by acquiring a shed or trailer to place at another Hempfield location.
