Women's Day Event is Planned

Mar. 6--Agency for New Americans, a nonprofit refugee resettlement agency, will hold its sixth annual International Women's Day Celebration Wednesday.
The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Powerhouse Event Center, 621 S. 17th St., Boise. There will be Afghan, Turkish and other ethnic food, as well as a silent auction, a raffle and entertainment.
Tickets cost $20 and may be purchased in advance from Yasmin Anguilar at 338-0033, Ext 31. All proceeds will help refugees in our community.
