Show Tickets Up for Grabs

March 8, 2006

A TEAM set up to boost the amount of rubbish recycled in Worcestershire is hoping to tempt residents to a show at which they could pick up gadgets to trash waste.

Worcestershire County Council’s waste minimisation team is offering 10 pairs of tickets to the Ideal Home Show in London between tomorrow and April 2.

The competition is being run as part of the Mission Impossible Campaign, which aims to increase the number of households recycling waste.

Viktoria Salisbury, spokeswoman for the waste management team, said: "The people of Worcestershire have shown a real commitment to recycling and reducing waste so we are pleased to offer this chance for residents to win a nice day out."

To enter the competition, open to residents in Worcestershire and Herefordshire, write in 25 words or less what you could learn from a visit to the Ideal Home Show.

Entries should be sent to mission impossible@Worcestershireire.gov.uk by Sunday.
