Dallas markets display latest trends in foods, holidays, home dcor
DALLAS The January and June gift, home accessories, holiday, furniture, lighting and gourmet foods shows, which are called Super Markets, are held in four buildings, World Trade Center, Trade Mart, International Floral & Gift Center and Market Hall, that are part of the Dallas Market Center complex on North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas.
The show is a wholesale-only trade show open to licensed buyers and business owners. Approximately 200,000 buyers from all 50 states and 84 countries attend the January and June shows.
During the shows, there are market center-sponsored seminars and market tours to help buyers in identifying new trends and product lines exhibited in showrooms located in the 5.1-million-square-foot office and display area.
At the January 2006 Super Market, there were 25,000 product lines represented.
Founded in 1957, the Dallas Market Center is the worlds largest wholesale merchandise resource.
