Produce Safety &Amp; Security International Inc. Begins Commercial Pilot Testing of Spherequat(R) 1000 for Swine Producers

Produce Safety & Security International Inc. (OTC: PDSC), ("PDSC"), an ozone and chemical sanitation disinfectant process supplier to the food and medical industries, announces today a Pilot Program for commercial Swine Producers, that will provide clean and sanitized feeding pens, loading shoots, transportation facilities and all contact areas of the swine producing industry.

This Pilot Program will provide a Food Safety program using the EPA Registered Spherequat(R) 1000, EPA Reg. No. 10324-63, Disinfectant, Sanitizer, Deodorizer, Fungicide and Virucide process in conjunction with Ozone equipment to sanitize and remove disease causing bacteria at the feeding, shipping and transportation functions of the Swine Industry. The process will be tested in each area of the swine production until delivered to the processing plant.

The Spherequat1000 process will consist of the following steps in accordance with EPA approved procedures for FARM PREMISE DISINFECTION DIRECTIONS FOR USE IN HOG FARMS. They are:

 --  Remove all animals and feed from premises, vehicles and enclosures. --  Remove all litter and manure from floors, walls and surfaces of barn,     pens, (stalls), chutes and other facilities and fixtures occupied or     transversed by animals. --  Empty all troughs, racks and other feeding and watering appliances. --  Thoroughly clean all surfaces with soap or detergent and rinse with     water. --  Saturate all surfaces with the recommended disinfecting or veridical     solution for a period of 10 minutes. --  Immerse all halters, ropes and other types of equipment used in     handling and restraining animals as well as forks, shovels, scrappers used     in removing litter and manure. --  Buildings, cars, trucks, boats and other closed spaces will not house     livestock or employ equipment until treatment has been absorbed, set and     dried. --  Thoroughly scrub all treated feed racks, mangers, troughs, automatic     feeders, fountains and water systems with soap or detergent and rinse with     potable water before reuse.      

Mr. Joseph Simpson of Sphere Group is the manufacturer of this EPA Registered product will monitor this Pilot Program for test results as a solution for Food Borne Illness in the Pork Industry. The EPA application instructions are provided for each industry. Each container shipped from the Florence, Kentucky manufacturing plant is labeled with these EPA authorized directions. Where applicable, these EPA authorized procedures will be complemented by the use of Ozone Manufacturing equipment. PDSC will monitor this Pilot Program for test results as a solution for Food Borne Illness in the Pork Industry.

"This program will provide test data used in commercial practices for the pork industry first, and then move to the dairy, beef and poultry industries. The process will provide an audit trail giving the industry a third party inspection process for the commercial processing facilities," stated Clarence W. Karney, CEO of PDSC.
