Mar. 19--Dreyer's will give free ice cream to neighborhoods across the nation this summer.
The event is called Dreyer's Slow Churned Neighborhood Salute, and it's being held for the second year. Neighborhoods have a chance to win 12 cartons of ice cream, along with napkins, spoons, scoops, bowls and other supplies to host a gathering of 100 neighbors.
To win the free ice cream, visit www.icecream.com and submit a paragraph explaining why the neighborhood deserves the ice cream. Contestants must be U.S. residents and at least 13 years old.
