Pakistan Food Ministry Confirms Presence of H5N1 in Poultry Farms

According to Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock, the laboratory reports of specimens of poultry farms in Charsadda and Abbotabad, sent to Britain on 27 February, have confirmed the presence of H5N1.
According to a press release, the officials of the provincial governments are keeping a strict vigil on all the poultry farms of the country and no report of bird flu virus has been received from any where.
