Programs Target Hobby Farmers

Mar. 24–Weekly programs to help small-acreage landowners and hobby farmers will begin in April.

Called Living on the Land Mini-Series, the programs will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

The programs will begin April 11 at the Ada and Canyon County Extension Offices, and on April 18 at the Owyhee County Extension Office and the Parma R&E Center.

The programs are sponsored by Rural Roots, Capital City Farmers Market, Touch the Soil, Zamzows, the Idaho State Department of Health, the Idaho Department of Agriculture, District II of the University of Idaho Extension Offices and the University of Idaho Agriculture Experiment Station.
