Industrial Services of America, Inc. Announces the Nomination of Director

Industrial Services of America, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDSA), a leading provider of logistics management services, equipment and processes for waste, recyclable commodities and other materials, announced the nomination of Albert A. Cozzi as a director for the upcoming one-year Board term beginning June 6, 2006.
From July 1999 to January 2004, Mr. Cozzi served as the Chief Executive Officer of Metal Management, Inc., headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, one of the largest full service metals recyclers in the United States. From December 1997 to June 1999, Mr. Cozzi served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Metal Management, Inc. From 1963 to 1997, Mr. Cozzi held various positions with Cozzi Iron & Metal, originally located in Chicago, Illinois prior to its merger with Metal Management, Inc., including President from 1990 to 1997.

In addition to Mr. Cozzi, the nominating committee of Industrial Services of America has proposed Craig Feltner and Richard Ferguson to one-year Board terms along with incumbents, Harry Kletter, David Lester, Roman Epelbaum and Orson Oliver. Harry Kletter further commented "To make these valuable additions, while keeping the stability of our present Board, we are increasing the Board from five members to seven members".
