Petroleum Prices in Early Session Retreat

An early session retreat cut most energy commodity prices Friday, but high-quality crude oil remained above $73 per barrel.
Crude for June delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell 54 cents to $73.15 per barrel and natural gas was off 22 cents to $7.841 per million.
Gasoline slipped 3.9 cents to $2.18 per gallon, and heating oil was off a couple of pennies to $2.0319 per gallon.
